چکیده

In this paper we study new algorithmic structures with DouglasRachford (DR) operators to solve convex feasibility problems. We propose to embed the basic two-set-DR algorithmic operator into the String-Averaging Projections (SAP) and into the Block-Iterative Projection (BIP) algorithmic structures, thereby creating new DR algorithmic schemes that include the recently proposed cyclic DouglasRachford algorithm and the averaged DR algorithm as special cases. We further propose and investigate a new multiple-set-DR algorithmic operator. Convergence of all these algorithmic schemes is studied by using properties of strongly quasi-nonexpansive operators and rmly nonexpansive operators.

The Douglas-Rachford Algorithm for Weakly Convex Penalties

The Douglas-Rachford algorithm is widely used in sparse signal processing for minimizing a sum of two convex functions. In this paper, we consider the case where one of the functions is weakly convex but the other is strongly convex so that the sum is convex. We provide a condition that ensures the convergence of the same Douglas-Rachford iterations, provided that the strongly convex function i...

Norm Convergence of Realistic Projection and Reflection Methods

The (2-set) convex feasibility problem asks for a point contained within the intersection of two closed convex sets of a Hilbert space. Projection and reflection methods represent a class of algorithmic schemes which are commonly used to solve this problem. Some notable projection and reflection methods include the method of alternating projections, the Douglas–Rachford method, the cyclic Dougl...

A Douglas-Rachford splitting for semi-decentralized generalized Nash equilibrium seeking in Monotone Aggregative Games

We address the generalized Nash equilibrium seeking problem for noncooperative agents playing non-strictly monotone aggregative games with affine coupling constraints. First, we use operator theory to characterize the generalized Nash equilibria of the game as the zeros of a monotone setvalued operator. Then, we massage the Douglas–Rachford splitting to solve the monotone inclusion problem and ...
